We are always looking for loving families to become licensed foster parents to provide temporary homes for children who have been removed from their families. The goal of this program is reunification with the biological family, so placements could be as short as a few days or the child could stay in your home for years.

When a child in the custody of the state’s foster care system is unable to be reunified with his or her family that boy or girl often becomes eligible for adoption. The Foster-to-Adopt program identifies these children and places them with foster care families who are interested in providing permanent homes for them through the process of adoption.

Through Christian Adoption Services, a ministry of Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina, we offer domestic & international adoption programs. Our domestic program provides homes for children (mostly newborns) whose parents voluntarily choose to place them for adoption. Our international programs work with orphanages abroad to find homes for children who have not been adopted within their own country (for any number of reasons, but typically due to special needs or being part of a sibling group).

Although our focus is finding homes for children who need them, we also recognize the importance of caring for birth families. Through Christian Adoption Services, we have a ministry that serves and loves on birth parents both before and after placement. Some of the services include post-placement counseling, support groups, and our newest ministry, The Emmanuel Home, a place of healing and hope for birth moms post-placement.
