TRAINING
Baptist Children’s Homes (BCH) is committed to coming alongside churches and families to empower you. Through our statewide foster care trainings, trauma-informed trainings, and online resources. Our goal is to make it possible for you to say “yes” to how God is calling you.
Trainings to Help You Say “Yes.”
Through our Every Child. Every Church. initiative, BCH works to ENGAGE churches in caring for vulnerable children, EQUIP families and leaders through foster care training and trauma-informed training, and SUPPORT those living out this calling in their homes and communities.
Learn more about each type of training below, and explore upcoming opportunities to take the next step in serving with confidence and compassion.
Foster Care Training
We believe that EVERY CHILD deserves a safe, stable, & loving home. We know that the local church can bridge the gap for the thousands of children in the North Carolina foster care system. Family Foster Care is where couples undergo training and licensing through BCH to provide care for a child, or children, in their own homes. To learn more about this program, visit our Foster Care page.
Trauma Informed Training
We’re on mission together to help your church become a place of hope and healing for those who are hurting. Our Gospel-centered, trauma-informed trainings equip leaders and caregivers with practical tools to walk compassionately with vulnerable and neurodivergent individuals—so that when churches are engaged and families are supported, discipleship flourishes and lives are transformed.
